These styles are Unicode characters, not font files. Screen readers may announce them oddly—use short strings.

Cursive mathematical script (and bold script)

Unicode Mathematical Script looks handwritten. Bold script is a second map. The Fancy generator includes these plus dozens of other styles; this page is the focused cursive workbench.

Invites and names, not contracts

A styled “thank you” is fine. A script-Unicode contract is a bad idea: search, copy, and accessibility break. Cute fonts overlap some script glyphs; gothic is a different tradition.

Incomplete script alphabet

A few letters historically lacked script forms and may stay Latin or use substitutes. Preview on the target phone. Unicode to Text reverses most of the map. Local only.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same as a calligraphy font?

No. Calligraphy fonts are files. These are letters from the Unicode math script blocks.

Regular vs bold script?

Both are previewed from the same input. Bold script is a heavier mathematical script set, not CSS bold.

Why is lowercase missing for some letters?

Unicode added the alphabet in stages. Unmapped characters are left as you typed them.
