What capitalized case does to each word
Capitalized case (sometimes called start case) uppercases the first letter of every whitespace-separated word and lowercases the rest. “the lord of the rings” becomes “The Lord Of The Rings.” Articles and prepositions are capitalized the same way as nouns, which is the difference from title case.
When to prefer capitalized case over title case

Names, brands, and hyphenated words
The transform does not know that “iPhone,” “McDonald,” or “eBay” have internal capitals. Hyphenated compounds are treated as one token unless a space splits them. Is capitalized case the same as title case?
No. Title case usually keeps short words such as “of” and “the” lowercase (except at the start). Capitalized case uppercases the first letter of every word.
Does it change numbers or punctuation?
Digits, symbols, and spacing stay as they are. Only letters inside each word are rewritten.
